REM to headline Oxegen



REM have been confirmed as one of the headliners at this year's Oxegen Festival.
Michael Stipe and Co join Kings of Leon for the extended trey twenty-four hours event which takes place from 11 to 13 July at Punchestown Racetrack, Naas, Co Kildare.
Stipe attended the festival shoemaker's last year during recordings for the band's forthcoming album 'Accelerate'. The record album is adjust for spill on 1 Apr and was recorded in Co Westmeath.
'Supernatural Superserious' is the first single to be taken from the new record album, and is now available digitally.  
Tickets for Oxegen testament go on pre-sale to those registered on the festival's web site from Monday 3 MArch at 8am until 8pm on Thursday 6 Borderland, express to four-spot tickets per person. Tickets go on general sale on Fri 7 March at 8am.
With the event extended to deuce-ace years, the camping ground volition open on the Thursday night for fans want to get an early on spot. However, promoters MCD will be charging an additional €20 for the privilege of acquiring at that place early.
